Self Heals Up To 1/4″

TyrLyner will automatically seal tightly around foreign objects and over open wounds up to 1/4-inch in diameter. This stops air from escaping, helping prevent any loss in performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of tires can be lined with TyrLyner?

Only tubeless tires can be treated at this time.

What size of tires can be treated with TyrLyner?

It can be used with any tubeless tire with a minimum bead diameter of 6 inches, not to exceed 54 inches in overall tire diameter. Tire cross section width can range from 5 to 15.5 inches.

How much weight does TyrLyner add?

It adds no more than 10 percent to the weight of the tire. The actual weight is proportional to the area of the tire to be lined. Regardless, the small percentage increase results in no noticeable change in the tire ride and keeps vehicle wear and tear to a minimum.

At what speeds can TyrLyner operate?

Up to 20 miles per hour. The centrifugal force caused by speeds over 20 mph may result in uneven distribution of the lining, which can result in reduced flat-proof coverage.

What if the puncture or hole does not heal?

In this unlikely occurrence, peel back a large enough area to perform a typical flat repair and continue to use the tire in service.

Will TyrLyner affect the tire or wheel?

No. The material is fully cured and non-reactive to the tire, and it does not interact or interfere with the structural integrity of the casing or the wheel.

Can TyrLyner be used in extreme weather conditions?

Yes, it performs well in all temperatures and climates.

Are special tools required to handle tires treated with TyrLyner?

No. The lining of the tire does not change the mounting or removal procedure.
