Credit and payment terms available from OTR Wheel Engineering are subject to satisfactory completion of the OTR Wheel Engineering Credit Application and subsequent review and approval by OTR’s management team. You can obtain a current credit application from your Customer Service or Account Representative. 

Terms of Purchase

Shipping Charges - All prices published or quoted are F.O.B. OTR Wheel Engineering shipping facility unless otherwise noted. Customers will be notified of any extra shipment or packaging charges.

Returns - All returned merchandise requires authorization and is subject to a restocking charge. See our Return Policy. 

Custom-made Products - All customers are responsible for all merchandise built to their specifications. If it is not correct, the customer owns the product and will be responsible for remanufacturing costs.

Damage And Shortage Claims - Any damage or shortage must be noted on the delivery ticket or a carrier's freight bill at the time of delivery. We can only be certain that the product quality and quantity was correct when it left our shipping dock.

Freight

Freight charges are quoted as F.O.B. OTR Wheel Engineering shipping facility unless otherwise noted.  Customers will be notified of any extra charges for packaging of products for shipment.

Freight charge is to be separate line item on the sales order.  OTR will use it’s preferred carrier unless the ordering customer specifies their carrier of choice.

If product is not available at closest OTR location, customer has preference to pay freight from OTR location that has product or wait until product arrives at OTR closet location.

Tire and Track orders that total over 3,000 lbs and rubber tracks over 2 pieces will be prepaid.

FOR TELEHANDLER EXCHANGE PROGRAM – National Rental Chains outbound will be shipped freight collect.

Custom Built Wheel Disclaimer

If we are building a custom wheel from your specifications and we don’t have an actual drawing for the wheel or a sample wheel to copy, a number of things can potentially go wrong.

When we build custom wheels from specifications, we are completely dependent upon the customer for the correct information. To ensure we get it right, ideally we would like the customer to send us a sample wheel to verify correct material specifications and dimensions. If a sample wheel is available, ship it to us by prepaid freight, and we will return it to you with your completed wheel order.

We can quote wheels based on information provided at the time of contact. But if we are given inaccurate information, we cannot be held firmly to any quotes we give back to you. If there is a problem with the wheel because of incorrect information provided by the customer, the customer has bought the wheel as shipped. If the wheels can be fixed, the customer will have to return the wheels back to us at their expense and additional labor charges will be involved to repair or remanufacture the wheels.

We have printed and illustrated instructions for measuring a wheel available on our website which can be downloaded here, or a copy of the information can be faxed directly to you. We will need a completed Wheel Spec Sheet for the wheel to be quoted and built.
