Tires
OTR Wheel Engineering designs and markets specialty tires used on equipment in construction, agricultural and industrial applications. OTR has built an excellent reputation for specially designed tires for use in the aerial lift and construction tire industry. These lines of tires feature improved compounding, longer wear, greater side wall protection, greater stability and heavily reinforced tire beads. These innovations lead to longer service life and ultimately lower operating cost to the end user.OTR offers specialty tires for a wide range of applications and product lines. OTR tire models such as Stabilizer, Outrigger, Wearmaster, Litefoot, and HBR are found widely on equipment used in the construction industry. More innovative OTR tires for specific machine applications are on the way!
OTR offers Solid Shaped Pneumatic tires in different sizes. These tires are engineered for use in the most extreme, high wear applications, including scrap metal recycling centers, waste transfer stations, and underground and open-pit operations. With their solid rubber compound and cut-resistant material, these solid pneumatics are designed to perform.
OTR can now offer in its large range of small lawn and garden sizes, semi- pneumatic (9x3.5, 13x6.5 and others), and closed cell polyurethane sizes.
Tireliner Flat Proofing
OTR’s tires are also available with the patented “Tireliner” puncture sealer. Machines equipped with the Tireliner feature have much less down time due to punctures from nails and screws. The self sealing polyurethane flat-proofing liner is a permanent, self-healing, urethane rubber sheet,that is securely adhered to the inside of the tire casing. Tireliner heals over cuts, punctures and penetrating objects, and will prevent tires from going flat if punctured or cut by objects up to ¼”in diameter. The patented process actually allows the liner to immediately close over the zone of penetration and completely fuse, thus, air pressure loss is prevented.
Unlike any other product on the market, Tireliner is a puncture sealing system that offers true sidewall protection as well as protection for tread areas. It provides a balanced, uniform thickness of self-healing rubber.
Mounting
The company operates several high-volume tire mounting facilities. OTR can provide the wheels, special undercoat treatments, top-coated with your specific color of paint and mounted with the tire of your choice.
Wheels
The company’s wheel product line includes agriculture, industrial, heavy duty truck, forestry, consumer, earthmoving/mining, construction and military. Wheel sizes run from 4 to 63 inches in diameter and carry most brands of domestic and imported tractor wheels, along with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard or custom built wheels
Rubber Tracks
OTR offers replacement rubber tracks and undercarriage parts for compact track loaders, skid steers, excavators, and other models. When it comes to rubber tracks, if you need it, OTR has it!
With our tracks there is no weld points to become weak and break prematurely, you minimize wear, maximize efficiency, and there is a balance of strength and flexibility throughout the entire rubber track. This is all possible thanks to using true Continuous Steel cord Technology (CST) in our tracks. Here at OTR we are proud of the lifespan of our rubber tracks and guarantee that we will ship you tracks designed to fit your machine.
Repair/Inspection and Recertification
OTR has a recertification and reconditioning program for wheels serving the ports (25 inch) along with programs for the large earthmover wheels used in the surface mines around the United States.
